Leaking washbasin; could not be fixed

The location was great. While close to all the city had to offer, it was removed from the noise at night. The manager spoke very good English and was extremely helpful with any problems. Pick-up service was efficient. Chinese breakfast was good.

Didn't like that we were locked in at night and couldn't get out early when we wanted to go for a walk. No staff on site until 8:30am unless arranged previously. We found this unsafe and inconvenient if there had been a problem. Western breakfast was terrible - either stale bread or bread that had been "toasted" in the microwave. The manager did not know how to prepare a Western breakfast. At times we did not have hot water or electricity. Had problems locking the door to the room.

No noise during the night. Clean rooms. Staff are very friendly and helped us allot.

This is not a 5 star! Be warned! I booked this for our last two days in Yunnan, thinking it would be nice to have a bit of luxury on the end of our trip. Was to the same standard as any other hostel we stayed in at one third of the price. It's way over priced and I can't see any reason for it being 5 starts, disgraceful! Shower was very bad, with no curtain and sprayed directly at the toilet. Poor heating in room. Poor breakfast. Powder milk coffee, egg and bread. No butter, no toast, not even ham or cheese! The girl had never even fried an egg before! Don't waste your money book another hostel for much much cheaper and go out for breakfast.

the room is so clean and comfortable, and the place is very convenience to go anywhere you want in the old town, foods, bars and shops are all around....the staffs are so helpful and friendly to us..i will be back again if i go to yunnan again

Location was nice, in the middle of the old city The young boy of the inn was extremely helpful for trip organisation and daily life support! Unortunately the female inn owner was on the contrary quite rough, which is a shame... There is no 15% charges to be paid, despite what Booking says!

The room is quite clean, but you need to ask the taff to make the room everyday, otherwise they don't wifi is quite slow It was pretty difficult to have warm (not hot) water The owner is requesting the entire amount for the stay on the first day, otherwise she gets pretty "aggresive". She does not understand the principle of paying the full amount at the check-out.

Very kind and helpful staff who speak English very well. The rooms were very comfortable and warm, with aiconditioning and an electric blanket. The food was also really nice
